We call us.
Tomsk production company "SAVA" is the largest producer and processor of honeysuckle in the Siberian region. In 2019, our own plantations of this berry were planted. Currently, the area of the company's honeysuckle orchards is 100 hectares. In the next few years, a high harvest is expected, which will make the Tomsk production company SAVA the largest honeysuckle procurer in Russia.
In 2020, the beginning of the berry picking season is unusually early, it fell in the first half of June, aided by warm weather in April and May.
The use of honeysuckle berries has a beneficial effect on the human body. Experts call them "berries of eternal youth", as they contain components that slow down aging. Honeysuckle contains a record amount of vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, B9, K, C, P), which are vital for the immune system, nervous system and blood vessels. The berry is rich in trace elements: magnesium and potassium, a sufficient amount of which plays a decisive role in the functioning of the nervous system, heart and kidneys.
Also, honeysuckle is rich in phytoncides, which means it has antibacterial and antipyretic properties. Flavonoids of berries have an oncoprotective effect on the human body.
Honeysuckle berries contain huge amounts of antioxidants (up to 4 times more than blueberries), more vitamin C than an orange, and almost as much potassium as a banana. Thanks to these properties, honeysuckle can be called a "superproduct".
Honeysuckle berries are a healthy treat for everyone, children and adults love it very much.
