In the new microdistrict of the village of Kozhevnikov, about a hundred volunteers planted 400 eight-year-old cedars with a closed root system, having laid a cedar forest near the village. Schoolchildren of the district center and employees of organizations took part in planting trees. The action was held within the framework of the regional project "Tomsk - the capital of the cedar", organized by the Regional State Budgetary Institution "Oblkompriroda" with the support of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Tomsk Region. The general partner of the project is the production company SAVA, which produces environmentally friendly products from wild plants.
The festive environmental event ended with the tasting of the products of the SAVA company: pine cone jam, blueberry jam with mint, sea buckthorn jam with ginger and fragrant rosebay tea. Participants received BioNergy fruit and berry desserts as a gift from the SAVA company.
